Course Description

As the debate continues favoring management or leadership, it remains clear that today's organizations need both management and leadership to optimize both effectiveness and efficiency.  This program will focus on defining leadership, while exploring the distinctions between management and leadership.  Participants will have the opportunity to gain feedback about some of their own leadership strengths and preferences, and to develop a plan of action for targeted impact on the job.

 Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

  • Define Leadership
  • Distinguish between leadership and management
  • Describe effective leadership behavior
  • Identify developmental opportunities for further enhancing leadership capability
